Revolution midfielder Dylan Borrero recovering from successful knee surgery
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – New England Revolution midfielder Dylan Borrero underwent successful surgery Monday to repair a torn left ACL. The procedure was performed at Massachusetts General Hospital in Foxborough, Mass. by Dr. Scott Martin. Borrero’s expected recovery timeline is nine to 12 months. He was placed on the club’s Season-Ending Injury List earlier this month.
Borrero, 21, recorded five goals and three assists through his first 20 regular season appearances with New England, including 14 starts. Borrero, who owns three senior caps with the Colombia National Team and began his career in his native country with Independiente Santa Fe, arrived in New England in 2022 from Brazilian side Clube Atlético Mineiro.
