Florida man walks into wrong home

Tom Brady is off to a rocky start in Florida.

Actually, it might be the perfect Florida Man start. Days after he was booted from a Tampa park for trying to get a workout in during a pandemic, a story of Brady walking into the wrong house in Tampa hit the internet courtesy of TMZ.

Scheduled to meet with Tampa Bay offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich shortly after his signing with the Buccaneers, Brady took his bags and walked right through the front door of what he believed was Leftwich’s home. He was mistaken.

“I literally was just sitting here and I watch this tall guy just walk into my house,” David Kramer, who lives at the home Brady straight-up waltzed into thinking it was Leftwich’s residence, said. “[Brady] didn’t even look at me. He just like dropped his duffel bags down on the floor and just kind of like looked up at me and I’ll never forget the look on his face.

“He just goes, ‘Am I in the wrong house?'”

(Yes. Yes, he was.)

First of all, there’s something that’s kind of hilarious about somebody just walking into the home of somebody named Kramer unannounced. A total reversal of roles from what we’ve conditioned ourselves to expect from such a name. (Just a lil’ Seinfeld humor for you in 2020.)

Kramer had no issues with Brady’s mistake (he noted that Brady couldn’t have been more apologetic), and Brady took to Twitter to poke fun at the rampage he’s created since moving from Boston to Tampa. Or as he insists on calling it… Tompa.

Florida, man.
