Zolak & Bertrand

On Monday’s edition of Zolak & Bertrand, Scott Zolak made it clear that he’d bring Tom Brady back to reunite with Bill O’Brien.

  • Zo's for it...

Scott Zolak: They’re an 8-win team without him (Tom Brady). He probably puts you at 11.

Marc Bertrand: And they’re going to have a better roster come training camp, I can guarantee you that. Just my opinion, but I’d guarantee it.

Scott Zolak: I’d go for it.

Marc Bertrand: Their roster will be better this offseason. It will again be reinvested in.

Scott Zolak: And you know what, that was after he had the 35 minute meeting with Belichick in the in the locker room. I’ve heard Felger & Mazz talk about this and I do think there’s something to it. Like, is it important for the organization to have Bill (Belichick) around when he breaks the record? I do think that is important to them. A lot of people disagree, but they also brought the point up what if what if you’re again, an 8-9 team or 7-10 team and he breaks the record, say, on the road in Arizona against some unnamed coach and some crap quarterback. How much more would it mean to circle the wagons again, bring it all back around, and these two go out together. Bill breaks the record. Tom comes back and actually makes you a contender again. Like, that’s dream book scenario types stuff.

Marc Bertrand and Hardy: Not for Bill.
