On Monday’s edition of Zolak & Bertrand, Marc Bertrand made it clear that Jaylen Brown will never be Jayson Tatum.

• Jaylen Brown isn't a complete player like Jayson Tatum

  Marc Bertrand: I found these comments from Jaylen Brown really interesting. I almost feel like he’s pushing back against what’s happening with Tatum. The shoe, the All-Star Game MVP. This is obviously said before that, but it just feels like he’s different than Tatum. He’s different.

  Scott Zolak: I’m number two. I get it. I’m deferring. But understand, I give up a lot to allow him to be him. I get it.

  Marc Bertrand: I mean, some of this I don’t believe and he didn’t say this but if he’s trying to say, when he said I could be something somewhere else, is he trying to say that he could be the equivalent of Tatum by putting him on another team where he’s the best player? I don’t really believe that. I don’t believe he’s ever going to be as good as Jayson Tatum.

  Scott Zolak: His ball-handling won’t let him.

  Marc Bertrand: No. Dribble off the foot again. It’s something that I just don’t think is there. I just don’t think it’s part of his game. I just don’t think he’s as complete a player as Jayson Tatum.
