TD Garden updates entry requirements effective Feb. 21
Boston’s TD Garden has announced a change to their entry policy, which will go into effect for Monday’s matinee between the Boston Bruins and Colorado Avalanche, as it relates to the arena’s COVID protocols.
“TD Garden, Boston Bruins, and Boston Celtics announced today they will align with the City of Boston and end the requirement for proof of vaccination at TD Garden effective Monday, February 21, 2022,” TD Garden announced in a statement Saturday. “The City of Boston Mask Mandate will continue to be in effect, requiring all guests two years old and over to wear a face mask at all times while indoors, except when actively eating or drinking.”
Simply put, still carry a mask with you, but feel free to leave the vaccine passport at home beginning this Monday.
As noted, the change is in line with the most recent updates from the City of Boston, with indoor spaces no longer requiring proof of vaccine. The change comes with a recent and significant drop COVID-19 cases throughout the area.
The Garden did go on to note that certain events, seating locations, and experiences may require additional health and safety guidelines per the request of promotors, touring artists, or league protocols. Specific updates on those rules and requirements can be found on the event page, with the arena asking all to review all communications distributed prior to any event.
