TD Garden updates entry protocols effective Mar. 5

TD Garden, in alignment with the Boston Bruins and Boston Celtics, has updated their entry protocols effective March 5. “Effective March 5, 2022, we will align with the City of Boston and lift the mask requirement," TD Garden announced in a statement Wednesday. "Per CDC guidelines, masks are highly recommended for those who are high risk but are no longer required.” The Garden's latest update comes less than two weeks after they aligned with the City of Boston's then-latest update and ditched proof of vaccine requirements, and with COVID numbers continuing to trend in the right direction. Based on this schedule, the first mask-free game at TD Garden will be on Sunday, March 6 when the Celtics host Kyrie Irving and the Brooklyn Nets in a 1 p.m. showdown. The Bruins will host the Los Angeles Kings the following night. Important to note that there was another additional note at the bottom of this release noting, "certain events, seating locations and experiences may require additional health and safety guidelines per the request of promoters, touring artists or league protocols. Please check for specific updates on the event page and be sure to review all communications distributed to you prior to your event." [gallery ids="149821,128860,145696,128858,145694,118254"]
