A Big Weekend For Sports Card Collectors
Super wild card weekend is in the books. The round was filled with storylines. One storyline I’ve been following is how the rookies played this week. I’m a fan of collecting and love the hobby of card collecting. Rookies were on display all weekend long and wanted to share some of the hot cards going and what players values improved this weekend.
On Saturday we saw Joe Flacco turn into a pumpkin losing to Houston. The Texans CJ Stroud was spectacular and his rookie card from Prizm will be a collectors gem if pulled.
The Packers win on the road was a shocker to some considering how well the Cowboys played at home in Dallas this season. Jordan Love cards have now become valuable and autographs went up over the weekend. The Packers moved on from Aaron Rodgers and found themselves in the Playoffs and the divisional round.
Tom Brady is retired and the Bucs have moved on after defeating the Eagles. Most cards from Brady are valuable. His autographed Montreal Expos card just sold at auction for over $150,000 dollars.
It was cold in Kansas City on Saturday night. So cold that Patrick Mahomes helmet cracked and had to be replaced. That helmet is wanted by Chase Jordan for $100,000 dollars.
One of the hottest cards and players right now is Puka Nakua of the Rams. He has broken rookie records and may break the bank of you pull a rookie card. Check out this Prizm silver autograph patch card.
Finally, I entered a box break for the new Prizm football card release. The teams were at random but I got some solid teams. I landed on the Commanders, Ravens, 49ers and Rams. I was hoping for a Nakua or Zay Flowers rookie which I did pull. Take a look at the case hits that I pulled last week
