Anyone But Mac Jones Should Start Sunday

The Patriots responded after their bye week with a 10-7 loss to the Giants. After not naming a start for a week, Bill Belichick went with Mac Jones under center. Jones has been pulled from 4 games this season and has returned under center every time. He should not be the starter against the Chargers on Sunday. This isn't me advocating for Bailey Zappe or Malik Cunningham or anyone else on the roster. This is about Jones starting after being pulled from a game. The numbers speak for themselves with 4 starts after being pulled from a game
Jets Win 22-17 (2022): Pulled during Bears game then beat Zach Wilson

Saints Loss 34-0: Pulled during the Cowboys game.
Then lost to Derek Carr
12-22, 0 Touchdowns, 2 Interceptions, 2 sacks, 1 Fumble
Raiders Loss 21-17: Pulled during the Saints game.
Then lost to Garoppolo/Hoyer 21-17.

Giants Loss 10-7: Pulled during the Colts game.
Then lost to Tommy DeVito
12-21, 0 Touchdowns, 2 Interceptions, 1 sack, 1 Fumble

The Jets finally ended the Zach Wilson experience. What is it with going back to Jones? I’ve given you the stats. It shouldn’t be about who’s better in practice anymore. It should be about starting someone new.
Some fans are rooting for the team to lose for a higher draft pick. Maybe that’s why they keep throwing Jones out there. The Patriots currently have the third pick in the draft. I do not see many more wins on the schedule. 2-15 could be realistic. There are 40 more days to go this season. We just saw the Panthers fire their head coach and got a head start on finding their next leader. The Patriots are a sinking ship. Bill Belichick has brought Mac Jones down with him. Who could be next over the remaining weeks of the season?
