Last week, the Patriots placed five players on the PUP list as part of getting their roster set for training camp. For linebacker Raekwon McMillan, it was a short stay on the list.

The team activated McMillan on Monday, two days before the first practice of camp. According to Andrew Callahan of the Boston Herald, McMillan passing his physical led to him being activated.

McMillan was signed by the Patriots as a free agent last spring, but after a strong start to camp tore his ACL and missed the entire season. Now fully healthy, McMillan figures to be a factor for the Patriots' defense this year in a rotational middle linebacker role.

Running back James White, center David Andrews, cornerback Jonathan Jones, and safety Jabrill Peppers are the four players remaining on PUP. White, Jones, and Peppers are coming off season-ending injuries suffered last fall, while Andrews had offseason shoulder surgery.
