Patriots announce jersey number changes for N’Keal Harry, four others
Five Patriots players are doing some jersey number shuffling, now that a few numbers became available.
The head-turner among five announced jersey number changes is wide receiver N’Keal Harry, who takes over the No. 1 previously worn by quarterback Cam Newton. Harry revealed the number change on Twitter prior to the team’s announcement.

Receiver Nelson Agholor will take the No. 15 previously worn by Harry. Agholor wore 15 during the 2020 season with the Las Vegas Raiders.
There were also three number changes on defense. Rookie defensive tackle Christian Barmore will wear No. 90, previously worn by Montravius Adams. Linebacker Harvey Langi switches to No. 52, previously worn by Akeem Spence. Linebacker Jahlani Tavai, whom the Patriots recently signed to their practice squad, will take over Langi’s No. 48.
The Patriots will take the field for the first time in the 2021 regular season on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins, starting at 4:25 p.m. ET.
