A day after the Washington Post shared the accounts of 15 women detailing sexual harassment within the Washington football team’s organization, owner Dan Snyder has responded via a written statement.

The statement reads, in part, ” The behavior described in yesterday’s Washington Post article has no place in our franchise.” Snyder closed by saying the goal going forward is to “create a team culture that is respectful and inclusive of all.”

ESPN’s Adam Schefter shared the full statement:

Shortly before the piece dropped on Thursday, Snyder’s team hired Beth Wilkinson, a local Washington DC criminal attorney, to “review the organization’s protocols,” according to Schefter.

Schefter also reported that minority shareholders of the team have begun the process of selling their stake in the team.
