The details on the Duron Harmon trade are in.
According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the Patriots will send Harmon along with a seventh-round pick (235th overall) to the Detroit Lions for a fifth-round pick (172nd overall). Both picks are for this year’s draft.
Overall, the Patriots move up 63 spots in the draft by moving the 29-year-old safety.
The trade was originally reported yesterday without the details.
Before the trade, the Patriots had no picks between 125 and 195, including no fifth-rounders. They’ve now picked one up, and still have two seventh-round picks remaining (230 and 241).
