On Thursday’s edition of Zolak & Bertrand, Scott Zolak made it clear that JuJu Smith-Schuster is an upgrade over Jakobi Meyers.
This is an upgrade...
Scott Zolak: So JuJu Smith-Schuster comes in for the same contract. I think you get a better player. I like the signing because I think he’s bigger. I think he’s he’s more of a breakaway guy. Doing games against him, now his heyday was back in Pittsburgh, I thinkhe had 1400 yards that Antonio Brown year. Caught the one against us, right at the end of the game and took it all the way up the sideline. This guy has breakaway ability, the other guy didn’t. I love Jakobi Meyers He’s a great possession guy. This guy’s going to be more of a possession guy. You can put him on a slot, you can put him outside. He had a productive year with with the Chiefs, you know, with (Patrick) Mahomes. And, you know, they didn’t have great people on the outside. You know, when you take away Tyreek Hill, you bring this guy in, and Mecole Hardman was not healthy. JuJu was asked to go in there and do some things. He did okay with Kansas City, but I will take my chances with him. I think it’s an upgrade over Meyers.
