On Monday’s edition of Zolak & Bertrand, Beetle made it clear that Jayson Tatum is making Jaylen Brown expendable.

  • Jaylen Brown could enter dangerous territory...

Marc Bertrand: Is this now something that Jaylen Brown is going to have to frequently do? We’re going to have to hear this once a week? Sticking up for Kyrie Irving. That’s what we have to deal with and listen too?

Scott Zolak: I think any time something comes up, he’s going to have to speak on it.

Hardy: I know we talked about it last week and I am with you Beetle, I want to give him the benefit of the doubt. He’s doing this as a means to, you know, what he would do for anybody, and I just worry about Jaylen and anyone else going down that road. It’s like you don’t want to go down that crazy road.

Marc Bertrand: I think the Celtics have had enough controversy surrounding them this year. I think they’re all full up on controversy. So, that’s all. The team’s going to be pretty good. Tatum’s going to have a great year. It’s all trending in the right direction for them again. They’re going to recover from losing their coach on the eve of the season beginning. They are they’re going to get through all of us and Jayson Tatum is going to be the reason why. The team already tried to trade Jaylen Brown by the way. So, you know, they’re open to it and if Tatum goes in the direction that it looks like he’s going, Jaylen Brown is going to find out that it’s not just the fans of Boston that don’t care about him. It’s going to be the team itself. They’ve already tried to move him once. They’ve got enough controversy on their hands. They don’t need more of it.

Scott Zolak: . Yeah, don’t be a distraction.

    Marc Bertrand: Don’t do that.
