On Zolak & Bertrand, Beetle made it clear that fans don’t care about Bill Belichick breaking Don Shula’s all-time win record.

  • What are we doing here?

Marc Bertrand: But among the reasons for continuing to coach his former employees said perhaps most significant is that (Bill) Belichick wants to become the NFL’s all-time leader in career wins by a head coach. Ugh.

    Scott Zolak: Why? Ugh.

Marc Bertrand: Because nobody cares about this record other than him. That’s why.

    Scott Zolak: Sure he does.

Marc Bertrand: I just said other than him. I don’t care about it. You don’t care about it. The Patriots fans don’t care about it. Nobody cares about that.

Scott Zolak: They only thing they care about is banners.

Marc Bertrand: And you know what, it’s fine to want the record. It’s fine for Bill Belichick to say I want to keep coaching and I want to break that record. But the way it’s worded here. Most significant, perhaps most significant. Oh, if that’s the most significant thing… what are we doing here?
