Beetle: I don’t think “The Dynasty” is all that enjoyable for fans
On Monday’s edition of Zolak & Bertrand, Marc “Beetle” Bertrand made it clear that “The Dynasty” isn’t all that enjoyable for Patriots fans.
Robert Kraft did not hold back on Bill…
Marc Bertrand: Not totally sure I understand the point of The Dynasty. Ten episode series that you can now see on Apple TV if you want to stream them or you already have. What was the point of this? Greatest NFL team this century, the most success, the best quarterback, the best head coach and you watch it and you don’t really feel better about all of it.
Scott Zolak: You’re almost like, why did it end? Why did it come to this?
Marc Bertrand: So from a fan perspective, I don’t think it’s all that enjoyable. The best stuff were the moments of greatness and It didn’t feel like they had enough of them. It felt like they came up short on the good stuff. They went heavy on the bad stuff and the controversies, and they kicked the snot out of their head coach.
T-Bone: I think at different times with all three of the guys, I felt like I like hated each one of them at different times throughout the documentary.
Marc Bertrand: Yeah. So what were they doing here? What was the point of this? And if it was to make the owner look good, I don’t think by the end you feel good about that either.
Scott Zolak: It doesn’t feel that way based on the reaction I hear from people.
Marc Bertrand: Oh, it’s backfired in a big way. We’ve been saying that for three weeks. This has backfired. Everyone looks at it as a hit piece on Bill..
T-Bone: Well, he was kicking the crap out of Bill, and Bill was still the head coach at that time, wasn’t he?
Marc Bertrand: Yes. In real time. I’d like to have the The Dynasty season two, where we break down the relationship between the owner and the coach, the same way we broke down the the quarterback and the head coach. Clearly, something went wrong between Robert and Bill in the final years, because he is all over the guy on the record. Forget whether or not you think it’s a hit piece. What he says on the record about Bill, I told him he was a schmuck. My head coach is a pain in the tuchus, but as long as we were winning, it was fine. I mean, he doesn’t exactly say nice things about Bill. He goes on the record saying Bill was a problem and how he then had to go to Bill and overrule him to get Alex Guerrero back in the room and how Bill didn’t want Tom. His power was threatened. He does not hold back on Bill. I give him credit for that. At least he talks crap on the record in this thing. He does not hide some of those things.
Scott Zolak: Bill took the high road on a lot of it.

Mock Draft Mailbag 1.0: It's officially draft season
With the initial wave of NFL free agency in the books, it’s officially NFL Draft season. As of Monday, it’s 38 days until the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft begins on April 25.
Now that the draft is the next major even on the NFL calendar, every Monday from today through draft week will be Mock Draft Monday here on 985TheSportsHub.com, powered by U.S. Pavement. We’ll have some sort of mock draft content to start the week, each week.

To kick off Mock Draft Mondays this week, we’ve got the return of the Mock Draft Mailbag! For those who missed its debut last year, this is like the Patriots Mailbag we do during the regular season but instead of sending questions, people submit mock drafts for me to react to. I see you guys replying to my tweets with mock drafts all year an unfortunately can’t respond to them all, so this is my attempt to get to as many as I can.
As we go through, there may be picks or trades that overlap from mock to mock. I’ll comment on a player, pick, trade, etc. the first time it comes up, but know that comment carries over to other mocks that present the same situation even if I don’t highlight it again. The goal is to try to highlight as many players and scenarios as possible, using part of as many possible mock drafts as you guys sent in.
If you missed submitting a mock this week, don’t worry! There will be at least two more Mock Draft Mailbags later this spring. For now though, let’s get started with 2024 Mock Draft Mailbag 1.0!
Note: The way these tweets are displayed, some of the mocks are cropped. You’ll have to open them in Twitter to see the full draft.
