Tom Brady’s TB12 Merges With Boston-Based NOBULL
Boston-based brand NOBULL is officially teaming up with the greatest Boston athlete of all time. Tom Brady and his TB12 (plus Brady Brand) has merged with NOBULL and Mike Repole (Vitamin Water, BodyArmor). Together, they will now be an all-encompassing wellness and performance company.
In a press release distributed today, it was explained, “The two brands have come together to provide the right tools to help everyone reach their full potential.”
Let’s appreciate where the two groups have already been. Brady (with Alex Guerrero) launched TB12 Sports in 2013. NOBULL started two years later, a few miles away from TB12 and Gillette Stadium. The intent was to create simple gear that focused on training and the CrossFit community. Comfortable and supportive sneakers, combined with durable apparel, became NOBULL’s product line.
Now We Have a Supergroup
“Exceptional training footwear and apparel, uncompromising nutrition, and a healthy obsession with getting better every day – that’s what TB12 and NOBULL’s all about,” their press release reads.
Under this new brand, nutrition and performance-based gear attempt to provide you with the tools needed to reach your fully desired potential. Brady is obviously a good face for the brand. Here, we are talking about an elite professional athlete who played quarterback in the NFL for 23 years, and won seven Super Bowls.
Moreover, this news has been well-received so far with the sports entertainment community. Earlier today, Joe Pompliano also broke the news, sharing a podcast (about the business and money of sports) conversation he had with Brady and Repole where they talked about the merger.
“NOBULL seeks to become a complete wellness company,” sports business reporter, Darren Rovell said. Adding Tom Brady and his TB12 sports line certainly launches that initiative in a positive direction.
