Jayson Tatum climbs Celtics’ all-time ranks in win over Nuggets
Jayson Tatum continues to dominate as a scorer during his career in a Celtics uniform, in this case particularly from three-point range.
In a dominant 124-104 win on the road against the Denver Nuggets on Sunday, Tatum tallied 30 points and went 6-of-10 from beyond the arc. His strong shooting day allowed him to pass Ray Allen for third place on the Celtics’ all-time three-point leaders with 801.
While Tatum sits under his career average of 38.3 percent from three-point range, he is heating up in the month of March. Tatum is shooting 45.5 percent from beyond the arc to drive his season-best 34.2 points per game in March. Only Kyrie Irving is averaging more, with 37.8 points per game this month in five fewer games.
