About an hour after Buzbee’s Instagram post, Watson responded — Deshaun Watson (@deshaunwatson) March 17, 2021?s=20">via Twitter. Watson denied the allegations saying he has “never treated any woman with anything other than the upmost respect.” He went on to question Buzbee’s motives, saying “the plaintiff’s lawyer claims that this isn’t about money, but before filing suit he made a baseless six-figure settlement demand.”

According to one of Buzbee’s old Instagram posts, he is or was neighbors with former Texans owner Bob McNair. After McNair’s death in 2018, his wife Janice assumed ownership of the franchise, with their son Cal taking over as CEO.
As of Tuesday evening, there’s been no comment from local authorities on any potential investigation. The NFL and the Houston Texans have yet to comment on the matter.
