The Patriots additions up front continue. On Monday evening, the team announced they are re-signing defensive lineman Carl Davis. Terms of the contract were not included in the announcement.

Davis was a third round pick in 2015, and bounced four teams before the Patriots signed him off the Jaguars’ practice squad last October. He only played in three games for New England, as concussions limited him for most of the season.

With a full offseason under his belt, Davis will have a chance to complete for playing time on the Patriots retooled defensive front that includes now Matt Judon and Davon Godchaux. The team also re-signed Deatrich Wise earlier in the day.
