Payton Pritchard hits game-winner as Celtics beat Heat 107-105
Rookie Payton Pritchard continued his impressive start to his NBA career on Wednesday night, sinking a clutch put-back shot just before time expired as the Celtics beat the Heat 107-105.
Marcus Smart drove to the basket on the final possession of regulation and his layup attempt bounced off the backboard. Pritchard anticipated the play well as he timed his jump perfectly and soared to the ball before anyone else could get to it, finishing the game-winning put-back with just 0.2 seconds remaining.

Pritchard didn’t have his best shooting night overall, finishing 3-for-10 from the field and 0-for-4 from three-point range for six total points. But he certainly came through when the Celtics needed him the most.
Jayson Tatum led the way in this one with 27 points, to go with five rebounds and four assists. Jaylen Brown scored 21 with 12 rebounds and five assists.
