Saturday’s Patriots COVID tests return negative

It appears that at least for now, Cam Newton is the only member of the Patriots to contract COVID-19.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, all Patriots COVID tests taken on Saturday returned negative. The entire team was re-tested after Newton spent Friday in the team facility before learning of his positive result Friday night.
The Patriots upcoming matchup with the Chiefs was postponed Saturday afternoon after both teams had players test positive. Currently, the plan is for the teams to play Monday night.
This is the NFL’s second potential COVID outbreak. Earlier this week, the league had to shift schedules due to 16 positive tests in the Tennessee Titans organization.
