With Cam Newton and the Patriots playing must-see football, the NFL is making sure the whole country can watch.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Monday morning that the league is moving New England’s Week 5 matchup with the Denver Broncos to a 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff. The game was originally scheduled to be played in the one o’clock window.
With the move, the game could become CBS’s national Game of the Week. It’s up against Colts-Browns (ew) and Giants-Cowboys (kinda one sided, isn’t it?).
New England now will not play another 1:00 p.m. game until November 1 (@Buffalo), and doesn’t have another 1:00 p.m. home game scheduled until November 29 (vs. Arizona).
