Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray could be taken first overall in the upcoming NFL draft, but that didn’t stop the Patriots from doing their homework on him as part of the pre-draft process.
According to Phil Perry of NBC Sports Boston, the Patriots had multiple scouts on hand at Oklahoma’s pro day watching a number of top draft prospects work out, including Murray.
No surprise here: Patriots have multiple sets of eyes at Oklahoma's pro day today. Kyler Murray the star of the show, but he has other teammates who could go early. Pocket-sized receiver Marquise Brown (weighed in at 169 pounds today) and offensive tackle Cody Ford among them.

Murray threw in front of scouts in Norman on Wednesday after choosing not to throw at the NFL Scouting Combine.
Notably, Murray did not have his height measured at the pro day after some have speculated that his height at the Combine was measured inaccurately. He checked in at 5’10 a few weeks ago in Indianapolis.
In addition to Brown and Ford, running back Rodney Anderson is also a notable Sooner draft prospect that worked out Wednesday before scouts.
