Celtics Dismantle Pacers 135-108
BOSTON – In perhaps their best game to date in the 2018-2019 season, the Boston Celtics steamrolled the Indiana Pacers 135-108 Wednesday night at TD Garden.
The 135 points the Celtics scored represented a season-high for Boston. The bench had 73 points.
The Green led for the entire game and eclipsed the 100-point plateau in the third quarter.
The Celtics had seven players in double figures, including Marcus Morris with a 22 points in 23 minutes on the floor.
Morris went 6-for-8 from the field and went 7-for-7 from the free throw line.
Jaylen Brown added 22 points off the bench. Jayson Tatum added 20 points.
Gordon Hayward had 14 points, while Kyrie Irving, Daniel Theis, and Terry Rozier all added 12 points each.
With the game well in hand, Brad Stevens was able to manage his players minutes. Only Brown and Tatum played 25 minutes or more.
The Celtics have a quick turnaround as they travel to Miami to play the Heat Thursday night.
