Atlanta Hawks Got A Little Salty On Twitter Last Night
Down in Atlanta, the relationship between professional franchises is apparently very strong.
It was no surprise that most residents of The ATL were actively rooting against the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII.
Last year in Super Bowl LI, the Pats destroyed the Atlanta Falcons by mounting the biggest comeback in Super Bowl history.
But last night, it was the city’s NBA team that took to social media to celebrate a Patriots loss.
New England vs. Everybody
The Atlanta Hawks tweeted out a “final score” last night after the Philadelphia Eagles won.
Final score:
— Atlanta Hawks (@ATLHawks) February 5, 2018
America: 41
Patriots: 33
Salty.
Of course, looking at the Eastern Conference standings, the Boston Celtics sit on top.
The Hawks? 14th.
Maybe less time tweeting and more time winning?
