New England Patriots

  • The Patriots’ injury report is a little bit longer on Thursday than it was on Wednesday, but is still much more condensed that it has been for the greater part of the last two months. The team added three players on Thursday, including one player who missed practice.

Defensive tackle Davon Godchaux (illness) was the only player to miss practice on Thursday. He was not listed on the injury report on Wednesday.

Both tight end Jonnu Smith (concussion) and cornerback Marcus Jones (concussion) returned to practice as limited participants after missing Wednesday’s session. Smith and Jones both missed last week’s game.

  • Cornerback Myles Bryant (shoulder) and safety Brenden Schooler (hip) were also added as limited participants on Thursday. Neither was listed at all on Wednesday. Wide receivers Jakobi Meyers (shoulder) and DeVante Parker (concussion), and cornerbacks Jalen Mills (groin) and Jonathan Jones (chest) all remained limited as was the case on Wednesday.

In Buffalo, the Bills held their first full practice of the week after having a walk-through on Wednesday. Guard Rodger Saffold (rest) and safety Jordan Poyer (knee/rest) both didn’t practice. Six players were limited including quarterback Josh Allen (ankle/right elbow), who has been limited for most of the second half of this season.

Both teams will hold one more practice this week on Friday. Game statuses will be released Friday afternoon.
