Toucher & Hardy

Red Sox Principal Owner John Henry and Chief Baseball Officer Claim Bloom were booed and heckled when they walked on stage at the Red Sox Winter Weekend at the MassMutual Center in Springfield. Unfortunately for Sox ownership and management, things didn’t get much better as fans continued to voiced their frustration at the team’s struggles on the field and roster moves.

  • During the town hall event that kicked off the two-day fan event, Bloom attempted to explain why the team was ready to commit a huge contract to Rafael Devers after they didn’t commit to Mookie Betts.

  • The crowd didn’t stop there. John Henry said during the town hall event that the ownership group was committed to the Red Sox and winning championships but was booed when he said high ticket prices were necessary for a high payroll.

  • During this morning’s Toucher & Rich radio program, Fred and Rich highlight some of the most memorable moments from the town hall event  Red Sox Winter Weekend.
