Landing the All-Star Game is something the Red Sox have been working at for a while now. Team president Sam Kennedy addressed that with reporters back in the spring.

  • There’s no timeline yet as to when Major League Baseball will announce the cities hosting those two games. In the past, those announcements have been made in bunches with the 2023, 2024, and 2026 locations all being revealed in November of this year.

Last time Fenway Park hosted the All-Star Game, it served as a celebration of baseball in the 20th century.
