Read Your Way To Fenway is up and running, and a great chance for you to encourage your kids to read. The summer event is a partnership between the Boston Public Library and the Red Sox Foundation. Read Your Way To Fenway is a collaboration between the Boston Public Library and The Red Sox Foundation. You can win three tickets to check out the Sox take on the Arizona Diamondbacks on Sunday, August 25th at 1:35pm. It's open to kids and teens ages 5 - 17. All they have to do is read 3 books, and write a short essay about one of them. They'll fill out an application and can submit it to any Boston Public Library location. You have from now until August 2nd at 5pm. You can only enter once. What Can I Read And What Do I Write About? Read whatever you like! It can be a picture book, chapter book, graphic novel, magazine, or nonfiction book. Anything and everything counts. And yes, audiobooks count too. And if you need some help deciding what to read, the Boston Public Library has lots of suggestions for Summer Reading. Once you've read your books, it's time to get writing. According to the application, some of the things to think about when writing your essay are: What would you tell a friend about this book? Did you love it or hate it? Why? They also say that it's ok if you get help with your essay, but just be sure not to copy someone else's words or use AI to use your entry. So get reading and writing and winning!
