Who has the top NBA trio?
The talk of week one in the NBA were the top 5 Duos around the league. Stephen A Smith happened to leave Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown off the list. With the James Harden trade to the Clippers, they have a legitimate big three. The league is filled with three stars on the same team despite the CBA restrictions. The defending champion Denver Nuggets got a great performance from Aaron Gordon in the NBA finals. They also have another great player in Michael Porter Jr., who did not make the cut. I wanted to take a crack at my top five NBA trios after the trade.

Ranking The Best NBA Trio’s after the James Harden trade
5. Kawhi Leonard, Paul George and James Harden
A former MVP, Finals MVP and MVP finalist on the same team is a great collection of talent
4. Denver Nuggets – Nikola Jokić, Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon
3. Boston Celtics – Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and Kristaps Porzingis
An All Star Game MVP with 2 other potential All-Stars
2. Phoenix Suns – Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal
This group just missed out on being the top trio.
1. Milwaukee Bucks – Giannis, Damian Lillard and Khris Middleton
This one could change after their slow start, but they win the top spot
Missed The Cut
Los Angeles Lakers – LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Austin Reaves
Reaves is a nice player, but not strong enough to make the cut here.
Miami Heat – Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro
I wish that Eric Spoelstra could have been added to this group.
