Revs’ Adam Buksa Called into Poland National Team Duty
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – New England Revolution forward Adam Buksa has been called into the Poland National Team ahead of its 2022-23 UEFA Nations League campaign.
Poland will open Nations League Group 4 play with four matches during the upcoming international break, beginning on June 1 against Wales (12:00 p.m. ET – ESPN+) in Wrocław, Poland. Poland will then travel to face Belgium on June 8 (2:45 p.m. ET) in Brussels and the Netherlands on June 11 (2:45 p.m. ET – ESPN+) in Rotterdam before returning home to host Belgium on June 14 (2:45 p.m. ET – ESPN+) in Warsaw.

Buksa made his first seven appearances at the international level during World Cup Qualifying, helping Poland reach for a second consecutive FIFA World Cup. The 25-year-old striker recorded five goals, including a hat trick in a 7-1 rout of San Marino on Sept. 5. He finished World Cup qualifying tied for 10th in goals scored during the current UEFA World Cup Qualifying cycle.
Buksa averaged 1.61 goals per 90 minutes played. Buksa is one of two players among the top-20 UEFA goal scorers who represents a non-European club alongside compatriot Karol Świderski (MLS – Charlotte FC).
Buksa, who led New England in scoring last season with 16 goals to go along with four assists in 31 games, has already tallied six goals in regular season play this season and 10 goals in 11 games across all competitions. The striker has tallied in six consecutive matches across all competitions, including back-to-back multi-goal performances.
Buksa has totaled 28 goals and eight assists in 63 MLS regular season appearances, in addition to two goals in five MLS Cup Playoff appearances.
The Revolution return to action on May 21 with a trip to face FC Cincinnati at TQL Stadium. The match kicks off at 6:00 p.m. ET on WSBK-TV38, myRITV, 98.5 The Sports Hub, and 1260 AM Nossa Radio.
