Patriots sign linebacker Raekwon McMillan to extension
The New England Patriots are signing inside linebacker Raekwon McMillan to a one-year extension through the 2022 season. ESPN’s Field Yates was first to report the signing Monday.
McMillan, 25, signed a one-year deal with the Patriots in the offseason. He tore his ACL during training camp in August and will spend the 2021 season on injured reserve. This is the second time McMillan has torn his ACL, the first being his rookie season with the Dolphins in 2017.
The fifth-year pro previously played 2018-19 with Miami, one under head coach Brian Flores, and the 2020 season with the Las Vegas Raiders.
