Cam Newton got universally positive reviews from reporters in attendance at the final day of Patriots mandatory minicamp.
Newton, the team’s projected starting quarterback to begin the 2021 season, went 17-for-21 with no interceptions throwing in team drills, according to Jeff Howe. Multiple reports noted improved accuracy and decision-making, compared to the first two days of minicamp.
Pass breakups against Newton in competitive drills were credited to J.C. Jackson against Gunner Olszewski and Kyle Dugger against Devin Asiasi, according to Mark Daniels of the Providence Journal.

Thursday marked the conclusion of OTAs and minicamp for the Patriots. The next time they take the field will be for 2021 training camp at the end of July.
