The New England Patriots added another name to their wide receiving group Friday, as the team reportedly signed speedster Marvin Hall, according to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

A 5-foot-10, 192-pound wideout, Hall set career-high marks in receptions (18), receiving yards (302), and touchdowns (two) in a 12-game campaign split between the Lions (11 games) and Browns (one game) in 2020.

Overall, the California native has totaled 37 catches, 772 yards, and five touchdowns in 45 career games between the Falcons, Lions, and Browns since the 2017 season.

Hall also has experience in the return game, too, with 29 career kickoff returns, with an average return of 22.1 yards.

He’s also just the latest name added to a wideout group that’s gone through some significant changes this offseason, from Julian Edelman’s retirement to the additions of Nelson Agholor and Kendrick Bourne. (There’s also those Julio Jones rumors that simply refuse to go away, especially as it relates to a potential Jones-to-Foxboro situation.)

“We’ll see,” Patriots head coach Bill Belichick said when asked about his wide receiver depth Friday. “We don’t have any games scheduled here anytime soon, so we’re going to continue to practice, install our system, learn what to do, learn how to adjust, get to know the players better, give them a chance to learn our system and modify it as we go.”
