Josh Uche added to injury report as Patriots prep for Seahawks
98.5 The Sports Hub staff report
Rookie linebacker Josh Uche was the lone addition to a Thursday injury report featuring six players in total, and with two players removed entirely, ahead of Sunday’s meeting with the Seahawks.
Uche, who was a surprise inactive for last week’s Week 1 head-to-head with the Dolphins, was added to the injury report with an ankle injury that led to a Thursday “did not participate.”
In addition to Uche, defensive lineman Adam Butler, linebacker Brandon Copeland, and wide receivers Julian Edelman and N’Keal Harry were limited participants for the second straight practice. Butler and Harry are dealing with shoulder issues, while Copeland and Edelman are both dealing with knee ailments.
But the good news: Tight end Dalton Keene (neck) was a full participant for the second straight day, while cornerback Jonathan Jones (foot) and rookie linebacker Cassh Maluia (knee) were removed from the injury report.
The Seahawks, meanwhile, added a big name to their injury report, with an apparent elbow issue adding safety Jamal Adams to Thursday’s report. But it doesn’t seem that there’s much to worry about when it comes to Adams’ status for Sunday’s game, as he was a full participant in Thursday’s practice despite the elbow injury.
This will be the Patriots’ first visit to Seattle since Oct. 14, 2012.
