Mike Vrabel gets testy when asked about Tom Brady

Tom Brady is still technically under contract until March 18. That means according to league rules, personnel from other teams can’t talk about him in the context of free agency without facing punishment.
Still, reporters have been asking.
Among those fielding the brunt of such questions at this week’s NFL Combine has been Titans head coach Mike Vrabel. Tennessee has been tabbed as one of the favorites to land Brady this spring, and Vrabel’s longstanding friendship with Brady adds an interesting angle.
However, when asked about Brady by NBC Sports Boston’s Phil Perry, Vrabel was clear that now is not the time to have that discussion.

The good news for Vrabel and other coaches is they only have another 21 days of dodging questions before Brady’s contract expires and this whole thing can be discussed out in the open. Until then, it’s all just speculation and runaround.
