All month long, 98.5 The Sports Hub’s Patriots play-by-play man Bob Socci and former Patriots great Ted Johnson have previewed the 2019 NFL Draft as part of our own “The Gridiron and Beyond” podcast. Here’s a roundup of each of their preview shows to get you ready for the weekend.

April 7: Recapping the Patriots’ offseason, Jeff Howe of The Athletic, and reliving the Patriots’ 1995 draft class

The guys review the Patriots’ offseason and run through the key departures from the Super Bowl winning team. Plus, Jeff Howe of The Athletic provided his draft insight and analyzed the greatest needs the Patriots need to address. Also, Bob and Ted relive the 1995 Patriots draft class, which featured Ty Law, Curtis Martin, and Johnson himself.

April 14: Assessing the Patriots’ draft needs, Kevin Duffy of the Boston Herald, and Bill Belichick’s pre-draft press conference

Bob and Ted analyze Coach Bill Belichick’s pre-draft press conference from this week and discuss which needs Belichick should address. Also, Patriots beat writer Kevin Duffy of the Boston Herald joined the show to add his draft insight and discuss if the Patriots plan to use one of the early draft picks on a wide receiver and possibly a quarterback to develop behind Brady.

April 21: Ted’s mock draft, potential Patriots targets, and former NFL QB Jim Miller

On this season’s third edition of the NFL Draft Preview Show, Bob and Ted run through their potential targets for the Patriots in the upcoming draft. Also, SiriusXM host and former NFL quarterback Jim Miller joins the show to discuss potential QB targets for the Patriots and his thoughts on potential No. 1 pick Kyler Murray. Ted also reveals his mock draft of the Patriots’ first six draft picks.
