The New England Patriots are not slowing down on what's become a busy Thursday for the defending Super Bowl champs, as they will sign free agent wide receiver Maurice Harris, according to the NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.

An undrafted talent out of California, the 26-year-old Harris spent the first three seasons of his NFL career with the Washington Redskins, but was not tendered a contract as a restricted free agent.

The 6-foot-3 wideout appeared in 12 games for the Redskins last year, and totaled a career-best 28 catches and 304 yards.

The Harris signing continues what's been a busy day at wideout for the Patriots, who have already signed Bruce Ellington to a one-year deal, and have reportedly shown an interest in Golden Tate.
