Radio Row: Ryan Leaf on Josh Gordon
Former NFL quarterback Ryan Leaf joined Zolak and Bertrand live on Radio Row Wednesday to talk about Patriots wide receiver Josh Gordon, who is currently in treatment for substance abuse.
Leaf, who battled addiction and mental health challenges and is now an advocate for sobriety efforts across the country, said he has reached out to Gordon’s camp to offer assistance.
“I’ve been in contact with his manager, Michael Johnson, for over a year. Every time anything happens or any time I check in I just say ‘Hey, I’m here for Josh and anything I can do,’” Leaf said.
Leaf also told the show that he’s picking the Rams to win by two scores, 35-21. If the game ends up being closer, than he said he likes the Patriots.
“It’s the only way I think they can win. Otherwise, if it’s a one possession game…Tom Brady finds a way to win it.”
