Tuesday represented the first opportunity for media members to ask Patriots Head Coach Bill Belichick about the laser incident during Sunday’s AFC Championship in Kansas City.
It should come as no surprise that The Hoodie didn’t say much about the matter.
“Right now, we’re really focused on getting ready for the Rams,” Belichick said after being asked about the green light that was spotted shining on Tom Brady on multiple occasions. “That’s what we’re focused on.”
Belichick refused to address if he thought the laser may have affected his team on any plays.
“Working on the Rams,” the coach said.
NFL spokesperson Brian McCarthy told the Boston Herald that the league is “looking into the report of the laser beam.” A Patriots spokesperson, meanwhile, had no comment but said that they are aware of the reports regarding the laser pointer.
