Tom Brady was limited in practice today after not participating yesterday.
The New England Patriots have now officially listed the quarterback as “questionable” for Sunday’s AFC Championship game agains the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Brady is now 50-50 on whether he will play on Sunday, given the injury to is right hand, an injury that he’s been tight-lipped about.
“I’m not talking about it,” Brady said to multiple questions about his throwing hand, which he injured during Wednesday’s practice in Foxboro.
Sources Say It’s A Cut on Tom Brady’s Thumb
Friday afternoon on Felger & Massarotti, host Mike Felger cited a source that put the injury in the superficial column.
“No fracture. No ligament. Just a cut from hitting the buckle on someone’s helmet. Four stitches around the knuckle, should not affect him,” according to Felger’s source
Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reports that Brady’s thumb injury “was gushing blood when it happened.”
However, Rapoport’s source also said that Brady was “zinging it pretty good today,” when it came to practice.
