The many years of studying under Tom Brady and Bill Belichick are paying dividends for Jimmy Garoppolo, and the San Francisco 49ers are cashing in.
The former Patriots backup quarterback is three for three in wins since being traded to the besieged team with a terrible 1-10 record before Garoppolo’s arrival.
This past weekend, when the Niners faced the Tennessee Titans, “Jimmy GQ,” as he’s come to be known in San Francisco, was mic’d up for NFL films, giving us insight into his thinking during the game-winning drive.
