On Monday’s edition of Zolak & Bertrand, the crew reacted live to the Patriots dealing Jonnu Smith to the Falcons.
I don't care what it's for...
Scott Zolak: I don’t care what it’s for. You just got rid of $31+ million in guaranteed money. That key phrase there at the end… creates space for New England. Create space for what? To do something big? That’s the whole. Now you traded away what I think is your most explosive offensive player. I’ve been beating this thing like he catches the ball, Ted. But then you see his burst, you see him take off, and he can just never harness it. This tells me too… you got an offensive coordinator in here. They got around him. Maybe watch a couple workouts here and there. Now they’re not organized workouts, but you could see a guy working out running saying… or you watch the tape. Billy’s (O’Brien) not stupid. Billy, get the tape of it. What can we do with him at this money, Billy? Is he going to be a formidable piece or is he going to be just one of those guys who maybe gets 8 to 10 snaps a game. Tight end will be a need here.
