The NBA trade deadline came and went this week and Payton Pritchard is still a member of the Boston Celtics. But if you are to believe his comments to Gary Washburn of The Boston Globe this week, Pritchard may be unhappy that he isn't playing elsewhere post-deadline. It's a bold strategy to put it on record that you hoped to be traded, but Marc Bertrand knows who deserves the blame for Pritchard's inflated sense of entitlement.

"You know who's responsible for this man's ego? Celtics fans. You people are responsible for this because you talk up and celebrate bench players like no other fan base in the history of sports. That's why he feels comfortable to come out and say that. 'I was hoping to get traded. I'm better than what this team is letting me do.'"
