On Thursday’s edition of Zolak & Bertrand, Scott Zolak admitted that Bill Belichick hasn’t done enough to help Mac Jones.

  Marc Bertrand: Did they do enough? Should they have done more? Not it’s not an offseason thing. It’s not what did they do since the season ended… although, you know, we can broaden this and we’ll include that. But just based on what he was talking about, which was the draft.

  Scott Zolak: Yeah, strictly draft. No, they didn’t do enough.

  Marc Bertrand: I’m with you. They did not do enough for this offense in the draft. And I would now say go ahead the rest of the offseason, they did do coaching changes, they did add Mike Gesicki, they did add JuJu Smith-Schuster. Yeah, those things are all true. But you know what I would say to that? That’s not enough either. That’s not enough. It’s not enough. They haven’t done enough.

  Scott Zolak: It’s shocking they didn’t get a tackle. It really is. Like that was your number one need. I know corner was a number one need too. But if he you had one of the top tackles there and you trade with Pittsburgh to allow them to go get the kid from Georgia. Like it was there for you. Why didn’t you select him? You needed the corner that much more than an offensive tackle. If this guy is going to be your franchise quarterback for years to come.
