  • While the Patriots’ offense has been shorthanded at practice for most of the week, they finally got some good news on Friday. Offensive tackle Trent Brown (illness) returned to practice after missing both Tuesday and Thursday’s sessions (the team did not hold practice on Wednesday). He was listed as limited on the injury report.

Brown has been dealing with this illness for a few weeks now. It first impacted him coming out of the bye week. While he hasn’t missed a game, he didn’t start that first game after the bye three weeks ago before being forced into the game due to other injuries. Last week, he didn’t take warmups but did end up playing every offensive snap for the Patriots.

  • While Brown did return to practice, there are still questions about the offensive line heading into Monday night’s game against the Cardinals. Isaiah Wynn (foot) missed his third practice of the week, and Yodny Cajuste (calf/back) remains limited.

Elsewhere on offense, running back Damien Harris (thigh) and wide receiver Jakobi Meyers (concussion) remain out. Cornerback Jalen Mills (groin) missed his third practice of the week as well.

  • The big news on Arizona’s side of things is wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins (illness) returning to practice. Hopkins missed practice on Thursday and while returning, was listed as a full participant.

Starting slot receiver Rondale Moore (groin) missed his second practice of the week, as did starting cornerback Byron Murphy Jr. (back). Defensive lineman Jonathan Ledbetter (back) was added to the report as limited.

Both teams are scheduled to hold their final practices of the week on Saturday. The last injury report and game statuses will come out in the afternoon.
