  • On Monday, the Patriots and Bills both released their first injury reports of the week ahead of their matchup on Thursday night. On the Bills’ side of things, it’s a lengthy report.

The Bills listed 14 players on Monday, with seven of those players not practicing. Five of those seven – wide receiver Khalil Shakir, tight end Quintin Morris, cornerback Dane Jackson, and safeties Damar Hamlin and Jaquan Johnson, were all out due to an illness. Starting left tackle Dion Dawkins (ankle) and linebacker Von Miller (knee) also missed practice.

  • Highlighting the group of the seven full participants for the Bills is quarterback Josh Allen (elbow). Starting center Mitch Morse (elbow/ankle) is also listed as are four starting defensive front seven players in defensive linemen Jordan Phillips (eye), Greg Rousseau (ankle), and A.J. Epenesa (ankle) and linebacker Tremaine Edmunds (groin/heel).

For the first time in a few weeks, if feels like the Patriots are the healthier of the two teams heading into a game. They were missing just two players at practice on Monday – running back Damien Harris (thigh) and offensive tackle Isaiah Wynn (foot). Harris was hurt during last week’s game, while Wynn was inactive.

  • The Patriots also had six players limited on Monday. Wide receiver Jakobi Meyers (shoulder) and cornerback Jalen Mills (groin) are the only two players added to the injury report this week. Wide receiver DeVante Parker (knee), offensive linemen David Andrews (thigh) and tackle Yodny Cajuste (calf), and cornerback Marcus Jones (ankle) are all still dealing with injuries they had going into Thursday.

Both teams will have their final full practice of the week on Tuesday. Game statuses are expected on Wednesday.
