Last week the Patriots seemingly completed their offensive coaching staff for 2023, hiring Adrian Klemm as their offensive line coach. Even with that hire though, there was still speculation some of the other candidates who interviewed could also join the staff in other positions, such as assistant coaching staff positions.

One interviewee who won’t be doing that is Ryan Wendell. Wendell, who played center for the Patriots from 2009-2015, interviewed with the Patriots early last week after spending the last four seasons as the assistant offensive line coach for the Buffalo Bills.

• After not getting the Patriots job, Wendell will be heading to Los Angeles as the new offensive line coach of the Rams.

  In Los Angeles, Wendell will work with former long-time Patriots tight end coach Nick Caley, who took the same position on Sean McVay’s staff earlier this week. The Rams are now building up a bit of a former Patriots contingent on their coaching staff, with 2010 Patriots draft pick Zac Robinson also on staff as the quarterbacks coach and passing game coordinator.
