The Boston Bruins lost game two of their playoff matchup with the Florida Panthers 6-3 on Wednesday night. On Thursday’s Felger and Mazz, Felger made it known that he’s not panicked despite the loss.

• Panicked? Felger isn't

  Felger: I’m not panicked, Mazz. And this is a “dicky” kind of thing to say, but I never felt they were as good as the record in the first place. You know, like if you’ve been listening to the show and you think we’ve been negative, I’m just telling you what I think. I never thought they were an unstoppable juggernaut. I never thought they were going to roll through the Panthers. I never thought they were going to roll through this thing. I never thought they were head and shoulders above everybody else. And you get to the playoffs and it gets hard and other teams are good. And not just that, but Florida made some changes last offseason, Tkachuk being the big one. But between Tkachuk and Bennett and Gudas back there, they got some guys that have some playoff sort of snarl. They have some mettle. They don’t suck. You’re not the greatest team of all time and this was going to happen and there was going to be a point where you were going to get punched in the schnoz and then what happens? You can say that you wanted that in the regular season, it’s not the same. And so I felt they needed last night. I’m not panicked because I never thought it was going to be easy in the first place. And now we’ll see…now we’ll see. I thought it was coming at some point I couldn’t tell you when. Game one, game two, first round, second round. So even all of you thsat said “the greatest team ever”, you knew it was coming. So here it is. It just came earlier than you might have thought. Let’s just hope it’s that moment that they overcome as opposed to being the reality of what they are.
